My goal is to have as many properly trained coaches to handle a trauma/medical emergency. 
For Level 2 coaches, a regional CPR/First Aid course will be offered; class details can be found on the NICA Level 2 page above. Level 3 coaches are welcome to attend this class. Level 3 coaches will receive class materials to complete their NICA First Aid certification before the start of the race season.
A remote NICA Level 3 First Aid class for Level 3 coaches (head coaches and team directors) will be held on December 2nd, and 3rd  2025, from 7:00 to 9:45 p.m. Class details can be found on the NICA Level 3 page above.
If needed, a CPR-only class will be scheduled; please refer to the CPR class details above for more information. If you only need the CPR portion, please get in touch with me, and I will send you a link to register for CPR in San Jose only.
New for this year is an in-person NICA First Aid/CPR class; details are on the Combo in-person page above.
San Jose CPR/FA on 11/30, with continued training for HC/TDs to be completed before the racing season starts. 
San Anselmo AWHS CPR/FA on January 11th, 2026, and will include NICA FA for HC/TD's
